Find other spinners!

Fire dancing is a million times more fun with other people! There are a bunch of gatherings around Brisbane that are very friendly for beginners and experts alike. Try these out (you may find us at most of them!)
  • Sunday Evenings at Burleigh Heads (every week)
This is a beautiful (not to mention, HUGE!) gathering in the parklands at the beach at Burleigh heads. The gathering kicks off when the sun goes down and runs until about 10pm. Expect drumming, dancing, and lots of fire spinning!

  • Monday Evenings at the Southbank Piazza (every week)
This is a non-fire jam that attracts many of the circus folk from around Brisbane. Here you can learn just about anything! Bring along your toys for an evening of play that starts at 7:30pm and runs til late.

  • Thursday Evenings at the Kangaroo Point Cliffs (every week)
Even if you don't attend our workshops, do drop by after 8pm at the bottom of the Kangaroo Point rock climbing cliffs for an open fire spinning jam! Bring along your own fire toys, or borrow our fuel for a gold coin donation, or just watch the fiery display against the breathtaking views of the city lights across the river! This gathering is hard to miss and is quickly becoming a South Brisbane icon. Drummers / dancers / spectators / rock climbers / families welcome.

  • Moonfest Shorncliffe beach (every full moon)
Similar in style to the Burleigh gathering, Moonfest is held every full moon at Lower Moora Park, Shorncliffe. Come and play with other fire artists or dance along to the earthly beats at this beautiful gathering!
